This ensemble is geared toward students in grades 6-12 who are looking for broader and more challenging music in a friendly setting. If you are a typical flutist you enjoy playing and love a challenge. At the same time you want to enjoy the music and people you are playing with. If that describes you, come join the NCMS Flute Choir. We meet every Monday night from 7-8pm. The class is taught by professional flutist, Ashley Addington. Ashley is a dynamic, young professional flutist who studied with Marianne Gedigian (formerly of the Boston Symphony Orchestra).
This ensemble will have 15 weekly rehearsals each semester and will also use piccolo and alto flute as appropriate. An audition is not necessary to participate in this ensemble.
