Music Therapy Faculty

Krystal offers in person and remote sessions on Tuesdays from 3-8pm and Wednesdays from 3-8pm.

Krystal uses they/them and she/her pronouns and identifies as queer. They grew up in Hillsborough County, New Hampshire, right in the middle of the woods.  She holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Therapy degree with a minor in Psychology from Berklee College of Music, from which she graduated in 2013. Krystal also holds a Master of Social Work degree from the University of New Hampshire as of 2023, with a focus on systems-level work and suicide prevention.

Krystal studied under flutist Wendy Rolfe while at Berklee, honing their performance skills and repertoire. They enjoy playing Brazilian flute music, rock-style flute, contemporary flute music, and jazz and blues. They have a solid base in baroque, classical, and romantic styles as well.

Krystal has experience working with folks from all walks of life and across the lifespan. They specialize in trauma work, LGBTQAI+ issues, mental health, and community building. Krystal has a passion for diversity, equity, and inclusion and creating and sustaining community spaces that elevate marginalized voices.

When not working, Krystal enjoys avidly reading queer fantasy and sci-fi novels, rock climbing, playing Dungeons & Dragons with friends, and spending time with her dog and two parrots.

Cheyenna Eagle, MT-BC

Cheyenna offers in person and remote sessions on Mondays and Wednesdays from 2-8pm.

Cheyenna (Chey) Eagle grew up in a small town in Western New york. She began piano lessons at age four and has loved learning every instrument she can get her hands on ever since. She graduated from the State University of New York at Fredonia in 2020,  earning a Bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy with a concentration on oboe. After completing her 8 month internship in Rochester, New York, seeing students both in person and virtually, she went on to continue working in the WNY area as a Board Certified Music Therapist for 2 years. Through her clinical work, she has gained experience working in a wide range of settings, including nursing homes, hospice, and schools. While working in Rochester, Chey worked with children and adults with multiple disabilities and taught adapted and standard lessons on a variety of instruments. In 2021, Chey completed the Neurologic Music Therapy training through the Academy of Neurologic Music Therapy. Currently, Chey provides music therapy services in Eastern Massachusetts and Boston. Chey has also served, and continues to serve, on music therapy committees on both the regional and national level through the American Music Therapy Association, including completing a term as part of the Executive Board of the Mid-Atlantic Region of the American Music Therapy Association. When Cheyenna is not working, she enjoys learning new instruments and doing crafts. She is excited to join the NCMS community and to continue sharing her passion for music therapy in a new setting!
