Flute Festival 2009
The flute festival has been held annually at NCMS for the past five years. Students range in age and ability from junior high through advanced high school players. These photos are from their final concert where students played in multiple ensembles as well as playing solos with piano accompaniment.

Hansel and Gretel: from the studio to the stage
This is our second year offering a program for 5-10 year olds that exposes students to multiple arts disciplines. This year we took the Englebert Humperdinct opera "Hansel and Gretel" and used it to teach the students about music and what it takes to bring a production from "the studio to the stage". Students played piano, sang, played musical games and learned lines as part of their week long experience.
