NCMS String Ensemble

Calling all NCMS String Students!

Do you play violin, viola, or cello?

Have you been playing for at least a year?

Are you confident reading sheet music?

Looking for a fun way to collaborate with other string players? Look no further!

- Anita M., Ensemble Member

“The ensemble experience has gone beyond my expectations.  The ensemble members are caring, welcoming and supportive. Dan always tries his hardest to gently guide us and make us sound professional.”

Join us for rehearsals every Thursday, 6-7:30pm

We’re sight reading all summer long & you’re invited! Open rehearsals are FREE to all players this summer thanks to our generous donors! Final summer rehearsal is August 20th!

Fall rehearsals begin Thursday, September 24th!

String Ensemble is free for all NCMS families. For new community members, String Ensemble is $40 per month. Consistent attendance at rehearsals during the academic year contributes to the ensemble’s success at concerts & performances, but enrollment is rolling.

Not sure about cost? If you qualify for a scholarship award, your participation in String Ensemble will be FREE! Apply here for a scholarship today!

Rehearsals are held at the Hunt Memorial Building* (6 Main Street), just across the street and around the corner from NCMS!*

Thanks to a team of generous donors, participation in this ensemble is FREE to current NCMS students and their families. During the school year, there will be a small monthly fee for community members that are new to NCMS. The ensemble is led by Mr. Dan Buchner and assisted by Brittany Stockwell.

During the school year, rehearsals continue weekly culminating in several special performances!

*Feel free to park at NCMS and walk over to the Hunt.
