The NCMS String Ensemble is an all ages / all levels community string orchestra. This multi-generational group of musicians comes together weekly to rehearse in preparation for ongoing performance opportunities.
You’re invited to join us for this low-risk high-enjoyment opportunity to play music together!

Thanks to a team of generous donors, String Ensemble is free for all NCMS families. For new community members, String Ensemble is $40 per month. Consistent attendance at rehearsals during the academic year contributes to the ensemble’s success at concerts & performances, but enrollment is rolling.
Not sure about cost? If you qualify for a scholarship award, your participation in String Ensemble will be FREE! Apply here for a scholarship today!
Rehearsals are held at the Hunt Memorial Building* (6 Main Street), just across the street and around the corner from NCMS!*
The ensemble is led by Mr. Dan Buchner and assisted by Brittany Stockwell.
During the school year, rehearsals continue weekly culminating in several special performances!
