Holly teaches in person and remote voice lessons Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

Holly Boivin began her vocal journey as a student at the Nashua Community Music School at age 16, and she is thrilled to now be back teaching full-time at NCMS. Holly is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire with a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education, specializing in voice, and completed extra studies in vocal pedagogy, body mapping, acoustics, and vocal jazz while at UNH. Holly has a broad range of vocal performance experience, including solo recitals, musical theatre, opera, and choir. She has also won awards in the NATS Student Auditions at the state and regional levels and been accepted into international summer festivals in Italy and Austria. Holly has experience teaching jazz (including improvisation), musical theatre, classical, and popular repertoire and preparing high school students for NH All-State auditions. As an educator, she aims to teach consistent, healthy vocal technique that allows students to move flexibly between genres and to encourage confidence and love for music through a fun and supportive lesson environment. She teaches vocalists of all ages and abilities.

Emily Adams
Voice

For as long as she can remember, Emily Adams has loved to sing. She began serious vocal study at the age of 15 and went on to attend Westminster Choir College in Princeton, NJ. There she received her Bachelor’s of Music in both Voice Performance and Piano, as well as her Master’s of Music in Vocal Pedagogy and Performance. A classically-trained mezzo-soprano, Emily has sung throughout New England. Performance highlights include Opera NH’s in-school opera programming, and she is passionate about sharing her love of music with others.

In addition to her work as a singer, Emily is an active pianist, specializing in ballet accompanying. Emily currently accompanies ballet classes at Boston Ballet School and has previously played for San Francisco Ballet School, Princeton Ballet School, and the dance corps of the San Francisco Opera.

Michelle Ladew
Voice

Michelle teaches in-person and remote lessons on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays.

Michelle Ladew is a classically trained pianist who has enjoyed an eventful music career spanning over 20 years. She is an award-winning musician in composition, piano performance, vocal coaching, and musical direction. At Plymouth State University she earned a BA in music performance cum laude. As a collaborative pianist at PSU, she worked full-time supporting vocalists, attending vocal lessons, private rehearsals, vocal coaching, assistant musical directing, and performances at recitals and competitions. She continued her studies at The New England Conservatory in Boston with a world-renowned teacher, Douglas Buys. Once she moved to Boston, she began music directing and vocal coaching at public schools, private schools, and her own private music school. She competed with The Tyngsboro School district in musical theater, earning awards from Musical Theatre International for herself and her students. The North Shore Theater awarded her best musical director for her work on Jesus Christ Super Star.  Working with all ages focusing on pop and musical theater, she enjoys helping her students develop their unique talents. 

Erin Quinlan
Piano & Voice

Ms. Erin teaches in-person lessons on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 2-8pm.

Erin has been teaching all ages and abilities for 15+ years in Boston, NYC, and now, Nashua. Her students have appeared on Broadway, sat for ABRSM exams, and have toured the country in rock bands. Career highlights include leading an inner-city Boston boys choir, running amateur songwriting lessons for adults, and directing the St Johns handbell choir. Erin has certifications in Special Needs and Inclusive Education, Sound Therapy, Sensory Inclusive Training, and Indian singing techniques. Erin is also certified in Makaton, a supplemental signing language, which she utilizes in her lessons to improve communication with all students, including neurodivergent students. In addition to teaching, Erin is a published playwright and composer. Her work has appeared everywhere from Off-Broadway and London to school drama clubs. She graduated from Berklee College of Music, has a certification from the EAMA- Nadia Boulanger Institute, and learned playwriting at the University of Oxford. She is a learning partner at Emerson College, where she is involved in the Environmental Justice curriculum, and a graduate of the prestigious BMI Lehman Engel Advanced Musical Theatre Workshop. In her free time, Erin is an amateur beekeeper, karate student, and American Civil War nerd.

Deb Lambert
Voice

Deb teaches in person and remote lessons on Mondays.

Deb Lambert is a multi-instrumentalist based in Lowell  Massachusetts. With specialties in brass and voice, Ms. Lambert has worked under the instruction of many admirable educators such as Dan Lutz, Debra-Nicole Huber, and Janice Giampa. Ms. Lambert was accepted into the Sarteano Choral Conducting Workshop,  where she performed with musicians from around the world in Sarteano, Italy. A regular face in NEYWE Jr. and NEYWE Sr., she has also performed around New England with the UMass Lowell Marching Band for 6 years. Ms. Lambert regularly performs with and assists in the management of a diverse array of ensembles within Umass Lowell.  Having taught one-on-one and in ensembles of various sizes, Deb has dedicated herself to teaching and bringing music to the community for over 10 years. She specializes in pop and contemporary singing styles. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education with a Vocal Concentration from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, is currently completing a master’s Program in Community Music Education, and believes in music for anyone and everyone.
